Ok chaps, now it's working properly I can appreciate the new format. When the final version of Gutsy (I prefer Gusty) comes out I'll post in the linux section and change my signature. I'll try to spread the word on pink fish media.
when moving to gutsy earlier this week I had problems with the music folder options and fstab file due to the fact that samba wasn't implemented earlier in the week. I have now gone to cifs which seems to be the way forward. If you are doing any instructions for Kubuntu then it might be a good idea to encourage everyone to standardise the fstab entry. I now have to include a password in the entry. Confusing for a dope like me. Brilliant when I get it right! Thanks again for helping me.
