Hiya,
Using the most recent svn version, I've got a number of errors coming
up in the logs. I'm using debian linux, and I've got an ADSL connection
to the 'net which was active at the time these tests were run :
Code:
--------------------
[22:13:00.3995] Slim::Utils::Cache::cleanup (206) Cache purge: FileCache -
skipping, purged recently
[22:13:00.7572] Slim::Utils::Cache::cleanup (206) Cache purge: Artwork -
skipping, purged recently

[22:13:00.8138] Slim::Networking::Async::HTTP::_http_error (262) Error:

[22:13:00.8173] Slim::Web::Settings::Server::Wizard::__ANON__ (43) Couldn't
connect to squeezenetwork.com - do we need a proxy?
Couldn't resolve IP address for: www.squeezenetwork.com
[22:13:00.8641] Slim::Networking::Async::HTTP::_http_error (262) Error:
[Error on HTTP socket: ]
[22:13:00.8660] Slim::Networking::SimpleAsyncHTTP::onError (183) Failed to
connect to http://update.slimdevices.com/update/firmware/7.0/jive.version
(Error on HTTP socket: )
[22:13:00.8680] Slim::Utils::Firmware::downloadAsyncError (468)
Warning: Firmware: Failed to download
http://update.slimdevices.com/update/firmware/7.0/jive.version (Error
on HTTP socket: ), will try again in 10 minutes.
--------------------
The machine is able to contact those servers, can resolve them and
should be able to work just fine.
The web proxy that I was asked about during set up doesn't seem to be
in the server.prefs file. The details from server.prefs say :
Code:
--------------------
webproxy: ''
weproxy: ~
--------------------
which seems a little odd to me (there are other entries, but those
seemed to be the interesting ones). Having changed the configuration to
use the local proxy (192.168.0.100:3128) I still get the same messages.
