The system tray said it was not running, but the process was sucking up 100 MB of memory. I did not try localhost -- I should have -- sorry. I finally solved the problem by uninstalling a slightly different way, that I now realize is the correct way but I should never have been to uninstall the way I did. The incorrect way was to click on the system tray and select exit before commencing the uninstall. I thought that actually stopped the server and exited the tray app. I think it only exits the tray app. When I stopped the server first, then exited the tray app, it uninstalled correctly (by this I mean that a) I never got the message that said I had to manually remove some other bits, and b) when I reinstalled everything worked as expected). I reinstalled with the run at startup option selected. However, I have yet to be asked for my SNetwork credentials even though I have been playing my Rhapsody and Pandora music.
