I'm seeing something similar. Michael released a new version of MusicInfoSCR today. I updated my version and set it all up fine.
I fired up an album to listen to and the display was correct. I normally have ARTIST (ALBUM) in the top left corner, when the second track started the ARTIST vanished and I was left with just (ALBUM). I checked the web interface using the new default skin and noticed the image for the album art in the top right player panel had changed to the default musical note image. The image was definitely correct for the first track. This does make me think the problem is with SC7 and not the MusicInfoSCR plugin.
