Do you have SELinux installed and/or enabled?  Does the file
/usr/sbin/selinuxenabled exist?

Don't bother doing either of these unless you have other reasons for
doing so.  SqueezeCenter should work with perl>=5.8.1.  This is a bug
in the RPM that we need to fix.  Depending on feedback, I'll implement
one of the fixes suggested in my previous post either today or
tomorrow.
