As I mentioned earlier in this thread: the old skin is still available from 
earlier builds or svn. Nobody's stopping you or whoever from taking it and 
maintain it as a 3rd party skin. We just decided to concentrate on one main 
skin, until it's really done.

There's no accounting for taste.

I can't answer all your questions regarding styles. Decisions have been taken, 
and they were not taken easily - I spent more time discussing the layout than 
implementing these recent changes. But I'll take your meanings back to our team 
and we'll see what we can and/or want to do with them.

I just received additional artwork a few minutes ago - too late for the nightly 
build, but I hope to implement them today.
