I removed MIS from my Plugins directory, and also removed the MIS prefs files from prefs/plugin/. Then I stopped SC, re-installed MIS from the zip and restarted SC. I can now replicate the behavior (SB screen blanking and log dumps) reliably just by switching the "Screensaver when playing" from "Now Playing (Jump back on wake)" to MIS. Switching back to the Now Playing screensaver restores the screen and stops the log dumps. This is using the web ui to change the screensavers, not the remote.
