Cheers Michael, The suggested Work Aound 2 from supplied MS link made no difference (apart from placing MS IE icons all over my PC). However, once I'd Set Program Access and Defaults back to Microsoft default and then changed the Web Browser back to my preferred Firefox browser things changed... a bit....
Now, when I type htpp://127.0.0.1:900 into start/run (or double click the SqueezeCentre tray icon) Squeezecenter open in Firefox (hurrah!) but I also receive an error box: Title: C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\SqueezeCentre Web Inter.... Message: Windows cannot find "C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\SqueezeCentre Web Interface.url". Make sure you typed the name correctly, and then try again, To search for a file, click the Start Button, and then click Search. If I navigate directly the SqueezeCentre Web Interface shortcut and double click it I receive the same error message as I did before: Title: http://127.0.0.1:9000 Message: Windows cannot find http://127.0.0.1:9000. Make sure you typed the name correctly, and then try again. To search for file, click the Start button, and then click search. I'm a bit flummoxed... I guess I could always dump Firefox and use IE instead..... :-( MC -- ModelCitizen It is far better to grasp the Universe as it really is than to persist in delusion, however satisfying and reassuring.
