OK, so think I've figured why, at the bottom of the page is a grey bar with the about etc buttons and the power symbol, this seems to be placed as an always on top thing so it moves with the scroll, the problem being, when I scroll down to the very bottom of the page I think it doesn't quite go far enough and the save changes button is hidden under this :-(
