Using the remote to browse the music folder was instant on previous versions of SS but now it takes 45 secs before the folder appears.
The reason I do this is to play a podcast which I copy into the music folder and then delete when I've listened to it. (If I don't copy a new file into the folder then browse music folder is still instant so I guess it's doing some sort of rescan?) I've used this method in the past because it works - is there a better method that works with SC7? I'm running SC7 (7.12.07) as a new install on a new Vista PC with approx 1200 albums.
