Sorry Michael, I'm not at work for 2 days now so can't easily provide
screenshots from IE6 via an Internet connection, but this one from IE7
on a LAN connection illustrates part of the vagary nicely. This on CS7
home screen.

On the Internet connection in IE6 all the lhp text looked
screwed/overlaid for a while too. If it was the 1990s I might suggest a
1000 pixel high, one pixel wide transparent image but I know nothing of
web development now.

BTW, I much prefer the look of IE7 in the latest nightly to the white
panel version, but the contrast is definitely not high enough. I stand
by all my previous comments about UI design, especially for a product
as comparatively quality/expensive as this one.
