I've just tried D'n'D (whilst testing bug 5756), and it works, but the
colours/highlighting are inconsistent, which doesn't make it clear where you
are dropping.

For the current playlist, the item that you are hovering over is highlighted
grey. I find that sometimes when I click and drag a song, the grey
highlighting stays on the dragged song, whereas other times I just get a grey
outline around the song (internals are transparent). There is a thin black
horizontal line to show where the song can be dropped to move that song.

I don't find the thin black line to be clear enough, especially when the grey
highlighting is on the dragged item.

There is an inconsistency with the Edit Playlist D'n'D. In that instance, the
item being dragged has a grey outline with transparent internal background, and
the items that you move the song over are highlighted grey.

Some other observations:

1. I often go to the playlists, select a playlist and then try to D'n'D the
songs on the playlist from that screen, only to realise that I am highlighting
the text on the songs, because I haven't chosen to edit the playlist yet. It
would be nice if there was some more distinct colouring to indicate when you
are on a D'n'D list, or support D'n'D on the playlist screen (merge "playlist"
and "edit playlist" screens into one, with an Add button to add a new item to
the playlist).

2. When I want to drag an item at the top of the list to the bottom of the
list, I have to drop it near the bottom of the screen, then scroll down a bit,
drag and drop a bit further down, scroll, etc. It may be nice if the list could
scroll up/down if the mouse is moved near the top/bottom of the list.

3. As has been said already, it would be nice to be able to D'n'D between left
and right panels. Left to right isn't so bad, as there's the add to playlist
button, after which a song can be dragged within the current playlist.
Right-to-left is more important for creating playlists, instead of having to
play the playlist, add songs to the current playlist, and then save the current
playlist. I thought about getting my PlaylistMan plugin to provide a WebUI
button on the current playlist songs, which would "Add to playlist...". This
would then somehow need to prompt for a playlist to add the song to, but I have
no idea if this is possible, and it's still a bit of a faff (esp. if I wanted
to add all songs on an album to a playlist).
