Not something I usually do, so I don't know if this is considered a bug or
not...
My wife just tried to play all songs by Simply Red. She generally uses Browse
Music Folder to find music stored within her music folder. I haven't got her
trained in the use of the Multi-library plugin yet (actually I have, but she
forgets and uses this archaic method instead).
So, she browsed to the Simply Red folder within this heirarchy:
Alex's Music\
Simply Red\
Stars\
several awful tracks within this folder.mp3
When she presses Play on the Simply Red item, it reports "Empty Playlist" and
plays nothing. She can play Stars folder though.
I assume this is because there are no music files directly within the Simply
Red folder (that it doesn't descend all sub-folders). Is this how it has
always worked, or would you expect it to play all songs in any sub-folder
beneath the chosen folder?
