OK, I get it. So it doesn't make sense to remove either button. I still think it would be a nicer UI if the main screen contained a list of OPML files that already existed in the default location(s). Beyond that, maybe the page (and the favorites) just needs more documentation. The first time I ever installed 7.0, I copied a few OPML files (previously used with MyPicks) into the playlist dir. I expected them to magically show up in either Favorites, or the Editor or somewhere... When I started playing with the editor, some basic things weren't obvious without a little trial and error. For example, the difference between Import and Load? What kind of path do Load and Import Need? Or is it just a filename? Where does Save put the file? Or do I need a full path? Is the .opml extension the default, or do I need to specify it? Stuff like that. Regarding the Browse local machine vs. server machine - I don't know. Either way half the users will think it's wrong... -- Fletch ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Fletch's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=529 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=41401 _______________________________________________ beta mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/beta
