I've just found the 7.0a2 release of SoftSqueeze and have been testing
that with the latest nightly builds of SC7.
I'm still having problems with audio, but I don't think I've got enough
facts and understanding to be able to log this as a bug.
Using either JLayer or the Java Mp3 plugin I can't get the 'GWR' radio
streams to work in AlienBBC - where as they work fine with SqueezeSlave
0.7
I've got some files that consistently play at half speed when using the
Java mp3 plugin - but play at the correct speed using JLayer.
I've also had problems where some mp3 files that play fine in other
applications don't work at all (SC just grinds to a halt) when SC7 /
SoftSqueeze try to play them. These are 192kbit/s mp3 files created
with Windows Media Player (11) - debug below.
Does anyone else have these problems - or is it just me? SqueezeCenter
is running on SlimNAS and I'm running SoftSqueeze on two different XPsp2
machines.
