Yet another update! While typing the last two messages, it suddenly started to play (about 4-5 minutes later). It's as if there exists a HUGE buffer. As a test, I switched stations, and again, no audio. Then (and I timed this) 25 minutes later, it started to play.
I switched stations again, waited for 3 minutes, switched again, this time it played immediately. Switched again, now I'm waiting again (it's been 10 minutes so far). I'm not sure how the packets are transmitted from pandora (are they TCP?) but I'm starting to think it must be some network transport problem. Sometimes it plays in 5 minutes, sometimes 25, sometimes immediately. What's odd, is that the songs change (new song info is seen in the logs) but nothing plays. Other streaming radio stations seem fine, as does the Pandora web interface, so I don't suspect it's network latency with my ISP.
