Right, I've turned on some more debug flags (SQL ones this time), and ran another scan. Here is some of the SQL relating to the database insertions & stuff for the previously mentioned artists. As a reminder: Clive Gregson has no MB tags, just correct ARTISTSORT. He displays correctly sorted. Alanis Morissette had correct MB sort tags, and correct ARTISTSORT.
