Thanks for your reply, Michael. I found Component Manager. Is it possible to run SqueezeCenter the way it was in version 6.x, controlling it from SlimTray? I know this isn't a Windows forum, but after reading about running SC as application vs service I'm not any wiser.
I often have this MIP/SC startup order issue (and have read a few others do too) and would prefer to just start the two applications myself.
