I believe there's supposed to be a way, but after wading through this bug report, I'm not certain how it should work or even how it's set. http://bugs.slimdevices.com/show_bug.cgi?id=6490 > In the mean time, is there some automatised way under Windows to copy > the contents of TPE2 to ALBUMARTIST for 10 000 files (mostly, but not > only, MP3s). Mp3tag ( http://www.mp3tag.de/en/ ) should do this if you tell it to copy BAND to ALBUMARTIST. Since it doesn't recognize ALBUMARTIST as an id3v2 field, it will create it as a TXXX field and copy the value in BAND (TPE2). Use an Action of 'Format value', set the field to ALBUMARTIST and the Format string to %band%. Please test it thoroughly before unleashing it on your entire library. :) -- JJZolx Jim ------------------------------------------------------------------------ JJZolx's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=10 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=42240 _______________________________________________ beta mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/beta
