I have a minor quip regarding the first-time install process... I frequently reinstall squeezecenter from scratch and while I love the install-wizard-like prompts, asking where your music is stored, playlists stored, etc... I do wish I had the option of NOT scanning my music right away and here's why: I like to click on the "Settings" and make subtle changes, such as "treat multi-disk sets as a single album" and a few others changes. Perhaps I need to add more music to the directory before scanning.... After making these changes, I then must force a "clear all and rescan" (simply scanning for "New and changed music" does not always recognize multi-disk sets as a single album).
Perhaps asking the user if they want to scan their music now, or select more advanced configuration options before proceeding would be a nice touch. Am I asking too much? I know it's minor, but after reinstalling every week, it starts to drive me a little nuts.
