I'd suggest you just whip up a small .cmd file

  net stop SqueezeServer
  net start SqueezeServer

The downside is that sometimes (about half the time for me), once the
squeezeserver service has been stopped (either via the "Services"
applet or via "net stop" on the command line) any attempt to start it
will fail. The only solution I've found at that point is to reboot the
server the service is running on.
Probably something "magic" I haven't figured out yet...
