Solved by copying autosplit.ix from the /usr/share/squeezecenter/CPAN/arch/5.8/i386-linux-thread-multi folder to the /usr/share/squeezecenter/CPAN/arch/5.8/x86_64-linux-thread-multi folder as follows:
