Do you have Itunes or MusicIP integration turned on by any chance?  If
so, it may be that something has changed on your Itunes or MusicIP
database and Slimserver is reloading it.

If this could be your problem, set the reload interval for either app
(in Settings) to 0.  You will need to manually run a scan to import
changes to those databases thereafter.
