I experienced similar problems with the 2-2-08 release. Thinking it was close to production, I gave it a try. Mistake. Softsqueeze (3.6 and 3.5) on most clients takes forever to start a stream (local and internet), and synchronizations are a mess across more than two clients, even including SBs. A SB running solo works ok with it, but larger menu calls take too long. Unacceptably sluggish performance on a 3.5ghz server over LAN. Fiddled with it all day, and then gave up on it.
I rolled back to 6.5, which runs our nine clients with lightning speed and rock solid sync. Of course, the preliminary uninstall of 6.5 meant I had to spend all evening reconfiguring all the clients again.
