Mostly it is fine so long as you only have one SB1 (or SliMP3) in the sync-group. The offset tolerance with SB1s is a little greater than with SB2+ players but this is not usually noticeable unless the speakers are really close, and not always even then. I have only really tested an SB1 with MP3, not WAV and sync does not work with AIF at all. In fact, there may be a bug with WAV so if you find a problem, it would be better to force transcoding to MP3 (at highest quality, 320kbps of course). > > 2) How easy it is to "debug" the synch delay when using digital outs? > Is it easy to tune in or downright impossible? There are player preferences (under Settings / Players / <player> / Audio) for setting the start-up delay and play offset. Adjustment to these take effect immediately (within a second or two), so you can just adjust the play offset until it sounds right (the start-offset probably does not apply in the digital output case, now that I think about it). -- awy ------------------------------------------------------------------------ awy's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=7480 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=38054 _______________________________________________ beta mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/beta
