Hi, thanks for you replies, but I've verified the issue on a fresh profile with no plugins/extensions/themes. I forgot to say that included disabling the DOM inspector plugin. It doesn't help.
I might try to roll back to eariler builds of Firefox 3, and see if there is some point at which it works. But out of interest are anybody else running FF3 on Linux without problems?
