'Bug 7111' (http://bugs.slimdevices.com/show_bug.cgi?id=7111) describes a problem sending playlists from MusicIP to SqueezeCenter. The bug has cropped up at some point since November 2007.
MIP's "Send To" function allows the user to send a newly built/generated playlist to the SC server and client without the need to run a SqueezeCenter scan the playlist--or even the tracks. (It's the only user-friendly back door of this sort that I know of. Yes, I can still generate MIP playlists from the server, but I'd much rather edit and smooth them using MIP prior to play.)
