I tell you, this thing is like a bad penny.
I went up to the next nightly, and my sorting error returned.
(Debian Testing, 7.0 and 7.01 nightlies both)

The default order shown in genre and album listings is by the order the
db was created.
Since the first folder contains Act's album, the first genre listed is
'Electronic.' My genres are listed as Electronic, Pop, Modern
Classical, Children, etc. They are therefore not sorted alpha. This is
on both the web and on the squeezebox.
The albums are listed as Act's "Laughter Tears and Rage" then Animal
Logic's "Animal Logic", then "The Rite of Spring" as performed by the
Atlanta Symphony Orch., etc.
If I tell it to sort by Year/Album, it sorts as above. If I tell it to
sort by Artist/Album, it sorts correctly. If I go back to Album, it
sorts by db order.

I removed SC, added in 7.0. Still there. Removed 7.0, put in 7.01.
Still there. Removed 7.01, and EVERYTHING that said 'slim' or 'squeeze'
on the machine. Databases, prefs, plugins, everything. Apt-get installed
7.0 nightly again, same result.

Help! I knew I shouldn't have tried to fix things...
