I just upgraded from slimserver_7.0a1_all.deb to
squeezecenter_7.0-17630_all.deb, and now all my settings are gone. I
copied /etc/slimserver/* to /etc/squeezecenter/ but that made no
difference.

More annoyingly, the new SqueezeCenter won't let me add my music
library! When I try to input it, it tells me "Invalid value
"/usr/music" for audiodir". It lets me choose /usr but not a
subdirectory. The newly created system user "squeezecenter" has all the
same permissions that the old "slimserver" user had.

For now I've reverted back to the older install, but I'd like to be
able to keep current. Is there a smoother upgrade path for this?
