Hi Robin. I'll try to duplicate this but I may need your help to fix it ;) Some questions: Have you customized your installation from the RPM install? Why does that log file have the date appended to it's filename? Also, I always thought that only SC would write to the SC log file and any output from the SC mysqld instance is written to mysql-error-log.txt.
