Performance is quite good. I run 2 SqueezeBoxes off it. I haven't played a movie on it while streaming. I'm very pleased with it because it doesn't have a fan and I don't have to hear it. I posted instructions on my blog: http://blog.gruby.com/2008/02/17/squeezecenter-and-apple-tv-take-2/ It isn't for the faint of heart to install, but it turned something I had sitting on the shelf into something useful.
