I run SC 7.0 successfully behind an Apache reverse proxy. I didn't have to change my configuration when I upgraded from 6.5.4. There's one difference to 6.5 however. If you disconnect the remote software player it will disappear instantly from the players list in the web UI. You need to first connect with the player and then load the webinterface (or reload). After adding music to the playlist it takes some time until you get any sound due to buffering in the software player, you need to be patient. When you disconnect the player it is removed from the players list and the playlist is cleared. You have to start over again when you reconnect.
