OK - now I realize how daft the original question probably was, but for the uninitiated- here's what I did:
This for Debian Etch system, also hosting the Slimserver. First add the "non-free" repository to /etc/apt/sources.list - "deb http://ftp.de.debian.org/debian etch main non-free" Run aptitude update and then aptitude install sun-java5-jdk Copy all the files as earlier in this thread, then run softsqueeze with the command line of: java -Dslimserver=localhost -Dskins=headless -jar /usr/share/headlesssq/SoftSqueeze.jar Runs like a charm! Sometimes will hang when switching from BBC radio stream to CD collection, but I haven't had much time or patience to diagnose that one yet. -- julescurt ------------------------------------------------------------------------ julescurt's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=342 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=43669 _______________________________________________ beta mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/beta
