I know SqueezeCenter has the option to sync volume or not between players that are synced but this doesn't do what I really want. What I want to do is use the individual player volumes to control relative volume between players but then I want a second volume control on the SqueezeCenter UI to control all volumes in sync (second "synced volume" would only be visible if two or more players are synced and the current player is one of those). Like that I could easily adjust say the lounge volume reative the the others by using the "normal volume" control on SqueezeCenter UI with current player set to lounge squeezebox and EASILY adjust all current sycned volume together with the "synced volume". Would this double volume control in SqueezeCenter (player volume plus synced volume be too confusing/complicated for user? I think its usefulness would out ways the additional complication added to the UI (sync volume only visible if you are connected to a player that is synced with another). (Is this the right place for this thread?)
