I am running SC 7.0.1 (unix) from april 1st. And yesterday evening the remote downloaded a new version to itself (I assume) so the latter should be as updated as it can be.
Last evening I added cover art to some albums. To my delight I discovered that I did not have to do a database rescan to see them on the Duet remote while playing the album with new artwork. But, while playing an album, when entering the listview mode (where one can see four entries of the playlist with art to the left) random entries did not show the artwork, just the regular fallback image. Scrolling up and down did not help. I would assume that since all tracks in the list came from the same album, they should all show the artwork. Every device is connected in a wireless network. Could it be that for some reason a request for an artwork does not result in a proper reply to the remote? If so, does the code on the remote try to refetch the artwork in any manner? Can I configure the remote to be more agressive wrt fetching artwork? I have not made a full rescan, but I did a "find new and modifed" scan when I noticed the issue. The latter did not help. I am not sure yet if it is the same tracks that lack an artwork if load an album multiple times. -- Espen ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Espen's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=15057 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=45719 _______________________________________________ beta mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/beta
