I'm running 7.1. I've seen a number of bug fixes and changes in the controller firmware. But the firmware is not being updated in http://update.slimdevices.com/update/firmware/ which is unchanged since 4/19. As I understand it, this is the firmware that is actually used by the server to present to the controller, not the firmware in the build. It is the firmware my controller is still running.
Do you want us to be testing new firmware? If so - how do you suggest we install. Forced via scp? Some other path?
