Doh! I seem to be having a lot of those moments recently! I just read in an earlier post that to connect with the UDAP tool all you need to do is stop the Squeezecenter service.
I still get several errors when running it on Windows 2003 with ActivePerl 5.10 but the tool seems to work nonetheless. I can't physically check but after turning bridging to 1 a ping sweep showed an extra 3 devices which would be the access point, remote and extender I use for the Professional remote. The reason I have a separate access point is that Philips don't support WPA. I'm using WEP plus MAC address filtering on a different SSID. The main network is implemented using 3 Linksys 802.11n switches and an 8 port switch.
