I see there were some checkins recently to update the "Rescan Music Library" control on the Basic Settings page, so that it is not possible to start another scan whilst a scan is in progress, and the control is re-enabled after a scan completes.
However, I often start a scan and then click the View Scan Details link, which takes me to the Status Page. That page refreshes periodically to show scan progress, but it doesn't refresh when the scan has completed, so it looks like a scan is still in progress. It often stops refreshing for me around the Database Cleanup stages.
