You also seem to have tripped over the fact that SlimProto reconnect was not yet fully implemented in new-streaming: 'bug 9446' (http://bugs.slimdevices.com/show_bug.cgi?id=9446). It is not clear whether this is a consequence of the SyncOptions problem or an independent issue. I have just check in a change for this but not properly tested it yet.
