Ohpinchey, my understanding is that only those in the UK/US and Germany can use the built in plugin, which would exclude Ireland (Eire) and would explain the problem that you are seeing. Not sure what the position is with Northern Ireland and whether that counts as part of the UK. However, if that geographical restriction is being applied - you'll need to use the Squeezescrobbler plugin to access Last.fm.
However, you seem to say that you could access Last.fm via the Controller before you upgraded to 7.2 which would mean you were using the official plugin - is that right? -- Siduhe Who am I on 'LAST.FM' (http://www.last.fm/user/siduhe)?
