On my slightly aging computer, around 2 - 2.5 minutes. That's an Athlon XP 2600+ with 1.5 GB of memory running windows xp pro. That's installing on top of an already existing installation. I manually stop the squeezecenter service before starting the installation, so that's not the issue.
No idea what it is, but once that little slow period is over, the thing takes right off, finishes the rest of the install in about 5-10 seconds.
