I'm wondering if you discovered anything from these logs? I've tried new SP builds from time to time but even the latest builds operate exactly the same. The logs report the same things as above. Here's the pattern I'm seeing: - just after installing a new build, a command window will often open and close and I can get to the setup screen, but it freezes there - every time I start it afterwards, it freezes at the "Free Your Music" screen. Sometimes the command window will open and close. - sometimes when I move the cursor to the SP screen it remains as an hourglass, sometimes it changes to the proper black pointer - if I click anywhere in the SP screen, the title changes to "SqueezePlay Beta - Not Responding" and I have to kill the process I fear it's some dumb Windows conflict. The firewall should let traffic through and I can definitely see the server - SoftSqueeze works fine on this computer. I do notice that sometimes my wireless software (Intel PROSet/Wireless 11.5.1.2 for Intel 2200 BG) drops the connection and at first I thought it and SP were conflicting, but it often drops the connection when it runs out of CPU resources. It's not the latest and fastest machine but it ought to work: Pentium M 1.5 GHz, 512 MB RAM.
