I have 2 servers set up. Both are running Linux, but one is running 7.2.1 (my main system) and another running the current nightly build of 7.3. I tried this a week ago and encountered the same problem.
When I switch to the other server, I see the player update its firmware and it is seen from the web page for the 7.3 server. But, the controller fails to connect to the server. Then I noticed that under the players listed, the name of my 7.3 server is listed. I select it and it asks for a username and password. I enter them and it fails to connect. At this point, the controller seems to be in limbo - I'm not sure what it is connected to. I am unable to play any music. The only way I can recover is to hold down the button on the player and initialize it again. This connects it back to my main server and I'm back where I started. Does anybody else do this? With SB3s I could do this no problems. -- maggior Rich --------- Setup: 2 SB3s, 1 duet, 1 receiver.
