I've just installed SqueezePlay to check it out. I love my Duet, it is a fabulous unit, it has genuinely freed my music and has been my favorite appliance since its purchase (if a little fiddly to set up). JJZolx's earlier posting in this thread hasn't really been discussed. I agree with Jim - I don't understand the philosophy behind constraining the display and functionality of a desktop application to that of a remote control interface with a ~1 inch display, and waste the opportunity to use the functionality of a PC. Why not aim to use the full screen real estate available on a laptop or desktop to make access, display and manipulation of a music library easier and more functional. Instead of replicating a remote control, why not provide the library display and functionality of a MediaMonkey or even Moose?? Alternatively, why not add SqueezePlay's player functions to SqueezeCenter to operate in the background, to play from the desktop as well as remote players? At least SC has a rudimentary library display. -- Hopscotch Squeezebox, Qnap TS-109Pro 2.1.0 Build 0904T, flipflip's SSOTS 3.0 Beta 15, SC7.2 ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Hopscotch's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=16107 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=53047 _______________________________________________ beta mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/beta
