I have exactly the same entry for Extension Downloader in Settings > Plugins and in Settings > Advanced.
I understand now. It is enabled by default (it seems) and so when someone uploads an extension it should appear on my web gui in either of the places listed above, and on my Controller in the relevant place. Is it possible to install them via a remote and player interface? And... when are we likely to have something to install? This Extension Downloader is a very good idea. Thanks.
