Thanks for your help kdf. I accept the beta idea and have myself learned (with help here of course) how to document and log a bug and get it fixed recently using this forum.
The only feature of 7.3 that I want (that I know of at least) is the availability of album art from an itunes library which I can now use. I just wanted to stay with my working and "stable" 7.3 from the day before that seemed to work fine and not get caught up in the latest nightly until I think (or hear on this forum) that it's not bringing new problems with it or unless I happen to be up for troubleshooting on a particular day. Today, I just wanted to listen to music and see my album art so I was unhappy that I followed the prompt regarding the availability of a new update on my remote that then resulted in problems. I think you answered my question which is how can I stay at my particular (working) stage of 7.3 and not be forced to install the latest nightly. I think the answer was to turn off the prompt in SC correct? Will that allow me to stay where I am in 7.3 and stop the prompting to update on my remote or do I just bypass the prompt somehow? Interestingly, after playing for about an hour and taking out the battery from the remote and restarting it the constant interruption from "rebuffering" seems to have disappeared and voila the music just plays. -- tubes59 ------------------------------------------------------------------------ tubes59's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=20431 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=55036 _______________________________________________ beta mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/beta
