After the dust settled and I sorted out what I probably really needed to do (revert to the previous jive version) I believe the device ID is the problem. Don't know why I couldn't revert using the volume up with a restart, but that didn't work. I figure since I can connect to SC while controlling any other device, the ID for SP is probably the problem.
