They may not, as these are firmware images for the players. receiver_54.bin is for the Receiver part of the Duet, boom_33.bin is for Squeezebox Boom. By default, the receiver will update automatically when you start the server. Boom may or may not depending on a setting in the "setup mode" shown when powering up. These firmware images are tightly matched with the version of Squeezecenter. It is not intended that you ever run a firmware from one version of SC with another, even if they are just nightly builds. Normally the .bin files are kept in the Firmware folder.
