At the risk of going back a few pages I find the new structure very
cumbersome and a retrograde step. When flicking through the menu
options on a SB it is much easier to scroll quickly through half a
dozen headline options to the one you want (it is easy to keep the
running order of six headlines in my head), then to go into the next
half a dozen options, etc, etc. The new arrangement requires me to
scroll through a seemingly unstructured set of many items that I don't
want in order to get to the one I do want (the fact that my server is
slow makes this an especially irritating exercise as the scrolling
overshoots and undershoots with abandon). Of course, the next time I
use the menu I want something else so I have to scroll through more
unnecessary items, whereas with a simple file tree I can go straight to
my headline item of Favorite or Internet or Connect to SN and then drop
into the appropriate tree.

(The new situation is especially peculiar when radioio, Deezer, Alien,
and Radio Feeds appear in the top of the hierarchy and again under
Internet.)

So, please:

- (ideally) can we make our own decisions about creating hierarchies
(and then remove the need for Logitech to make decisions for us about
how we wish to organise ourselves), or

- (less ideally) can we revert to a more discrete list of folders with
appropriate, limited sub-folders (i.e. largely as it was)

Additonally, I have switched off certain items in Settings (i.e. they
are in the Inactive list) but they persist in SB and SC. For example,
"More Music" (which seems an insignificant little clutch of stations)
just won't go away

Addtionally No 2, whilst I respect that Logitech may have a high regard
for RadioTime I find that their value is limited to the search function
and URL. Consequently, breaking out World, Local, etc is of no help to
me, it just creates clutter. (Perhaps this belongs elsewhere but
distorting/subjugating the customer experience to suit a commercial
arrangement is unlikely to benefit the customer, thence the supplier in
the long run.)

Addtionally No 3, why are there two indestinguishable Search functions?
When (radio) Search was under RadioTime it was obvious that the other
Search was for files. If we must have Search separated out how about
putting Search Radio and Search Files as sub-options under one Search
option?

The above comments apply equally to SN which has also taken a step
backwards.

In conclusion, can we have a simplified approach to the hierarchies in
SB & SN, and how do I ensure that inactive items don't show
themselves.

To end on a compliment, the addition of Deezer is a nice touch, even if
it is quirky.
