No the player is on when i change settings, but if i only change the name this will not be remembered next time i start the squeezeplay player. It's shown under it's new name during this session, but goes away when i restart
If I alter some other setting and apply and even change it back to what it was before and apply and then restart the player, it will remember it's name and all other settings. So now my SP instance on my desktop is known as "ubuntu" . And it is working the Name is remembered and my SC knows it. Next Q if I also install SP on my Windoze partition on the same PC will SC tell the difference between them ? assuming the NIC has the same mac ?
